England/Wales Company Winding Up Petitions Drop In Q2

Friday, the Ministry of Justice report showed that in England and Wales 3,181 company winding up petitions were issued in the second quarter, down 8% from the first quarter. But, it increased 9% on an annual basis.

And, debtors' bankruptcy petitions issued in the High Court and county courts of England and Wales stood at 16,139, dropped 4% quarter-on-quarter and increased 19% annually. Meanwhile, creditors' increased 9% sequentially and fell 12% from the same period of prior year.
