Friday, Netherlands' Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer confidence indicator stood at minus 17 in September, unchanged from the previous month. Economists were looking for the reading of minus 15.
The indicator measuring for economic situation in the next 12 months improved 6 points to 5 in September.
In September, consumers' willingness to buy dropped slightly, while the assessment of their own financial situation over the next twelve months deteriorated.
