Czech Producer Prices Decline Further In July

Monday, the Czech Statistical Office announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 4.9% year-over-year in July, compared with a 4.4% fall in the previous month. This was the biggest annual decline since 1991.

Month-on-month, the PPI decreased 0.4% in July, after a flat reading in the previous month.

Meanwhile, the construction work prices increased 0.7% annually in July and it remained unchanged compared to the previous month.
