Cyprus Tourist Arrivals Decrease In August

Thursday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the tourists arrivals decreased 11.1% year-on-year in August, compared to the 11.2% fall in the previous month.

The tourists arrivals totaled 291,583 in August, smaller than the 304,126 tourists in July.

For the January to August period, tourists arrivals decreased 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In July, the tourism revenue dropped 14.8% on an annual basis, compared to the 23.6% fall in June.
