Croatia Consumer Price Inflation Eases In July

Friday, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index , or CPI rose 1.2% year-over-year in July, slower than the 2.1% increase in the previous month. A year ago, inflation was 8.4%.

In July, food and non-alcoholic beverages prices increased 0.2% annually, while clothing and footwear prices grew 0.9%. Transport charges were down 10.9%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.7% in July, after rising 0.1% in June.
