Chile Consumer Prices Decline In September

Thursday, Spain's National Institute of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI dropped 1.1% year-on-year in September, compared to the 1% fall in the previous month. Economists were looking for a decline of 1.4%. A year ago, the CPI was up 9.2%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 1% in September, after falling 0.4% in August. Economists expected an increase of 0.6%.
