Bulgaria Q2 GDP Drops Further

Monday, Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute said in a report that the gross domestic product or GDP decreased 4.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, compared with a 3.5% fall in the first quarter.

At the same time, the real gross value added declined 3.4%, while agricultural sector gross value added decreased 6.6%.

For the first half of the year, the GDP dropped 4.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
