Slovenia Gross Earnings Growth Eases In July

Tuesday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the average monthly gross earnings increased 3.8% year-on-year in July, slower than the 4.7% growth in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, average monthly gross earnings dropped 0.3% in July, after rising 1% in June.

For the first seven months of the year, gross earnings increased 4.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, net earnings increased 3.6% on an annual basis in July, slowing from 4.6% increase in the previous month. Month-on-month, net earnings decreased 0.3% versus 0.8% increase in June. In the January to July period, net earnings grew 4.5% over a year ago.
