Slovak Industrial Turnover Declines In June

Monday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the industrial turnover decreased 21% year-over-year to EUR 4.65 billion in June, compared with a 26.3% fall in the preceding month.

Meanwhile, manufacturing turnover fell 22.6% annually in June, after falling 28.2% in May. Mining and quarrying turnover dropped 10.2%.

At the same time, the turnover in construction enterprises decreased 8.2% to EUR 848.8 million.

For the first five months of the year, industrial turnover decreased 25.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
