Poland Wages And Salaries Increase In July

Tuesday, Poland's Central Statistical Office announced that the average gross wages and salaries in enterprise sector increased 3.9% year-over-year in July, faster than the 2% growth in the previous month. Economists were looking for an increase of 2%.

On a monthly basis, wages and salaries increased 2.3% in July, smaller than the 2.9% increase in the preceding month.

For the first seven months of the year, average gross wages and salaries grew 4.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
