Friday, the Reserve Bank of India said in a report that the international reserves stood at US$ 277.649 billion as on on September 4, up from the US$ 276.362 billion in the previous week.
At the same time, the foreign currency assets increased to US$ 261.657 billion from US$ 260.523 billion last week. Similarly, the gold reserves rose to US$ 9.83 billion from US$ 9.671 billion.
Meanwhile, nation's reserve position in the international monitory fund stood at US$ 1.346 billion, down from US$ 1.347 billion last week.
