Hungary Industrial Output Falls In July - Final

Tuesday, Hungary's Central Statistical Office said in a final report that the industrial production decreased 19.4% year-on-year in July, unrevised from the preliminary report. In June, industrial production was down 18.8%.

After adjusting for working days, industrial production dropped 19.4% on an annual basis in July, compared to the 18.8% fall in June.

On a monthly basis, industrial production decreased a seasonal and working day adjusted 0.7% in July, in contrast to the 1.7% increase in the previous month.

For the first seven months of the year, industrial production fell 22.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The statistical office confirmed its preliminary estimate for industrial production figures for the month of July.
