Friday, Germany's Federal Statistical Office announced that the wholesale turnover in real terms decreased 10.8% year-over-year in the second quarter, compared to the 7.2% fall in the previous quarter. Nominally, wholesale turnover was down 18.4%.
On a monthly basis, wholesale sales in real terms increased a calendar and seasonally adjusted 2% in June, while wholesale sales rose nominally 1.1%.
For the first six months of the year, wholesale turnover in real terms decreased 9.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
