Finland Producer Prices Decline In July

Monday, the Statistics Finland announced that the producer price index or PPI for manufactured products dropped 9.6% year-over-year in July, compared with a 8.4% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, the PPI decreased 1.1% in July.

In July, export prices declined 10.6% annually and fell 1.5% compared to the previous month. Import prices decreased 12.6% on an annual basis and it was down 0.5% from the preceding month.

Meanwhile, wholesale price index or WPI decreased 10.7% year-on-year in July. The WPI dropped 0.5% compared to the previous month.
