Friday, the Czech Statistical Office said in a final report that the industrial production dropped 18.2% year-on-year in July, revised from 18.4% fall estimated initially. Industrial production was down 11.8% in June.
O a working day adjusted basis, industrial production dropped 16.1% on an annual basis in July, revised from 16.4% decline reported initially.
Month-on-month, industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 2.4% in July.
In July, industrial new orders declined 21.2% annually, revised from 22.7% fall estimated previously.
Meanwhile, the construction production decreased 4.4% year-on-year in July, in contrast to a revised 0.7% increase in the previous month. On a monthly basis, construction production dropped 0.7%.
For the January to July period, industrial production fell 18.5% compared to the previous year. During the period, construction production dropped 4.2%.
