Wednesday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the trade surplus stood at EUR 363.94 million in July, narrowing from EUR 390.42 million deficit in June. A year ago, the trade deficit was EUR 673.87 million.
Exports amounted to EUR 81.42 million in July, down from EUR 82.08 million in June. Meanwhile, imports totaled EUR 445.361 million, down from EUR 472.498 million in June.
For the January to July period, the trade deficit stood at EUR 2.67 billion, narrowing from EUR 3.68 billion a year ago. During the period, exports totaled EUR 559.56 million, while imports amounted to EUR 3.23 billion.
