Cyprus August HICP Drops

Monday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP dropped 0.9% year-on-year in August, compared to the 0.8% fall in the previous month. The HICP inflation was 5.1% a year ago.

For the January to August period, the HICP increased 0.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The consumer price index or CPI dropped 1% on an annul basis in August, compared to the 0.8% fall in the previous month.
