Tuesday, the National Bank of Belgium said in a report that the trade deficit stood at EUR 105.7 million in June, down from EUR 244 million surplus recorded in the previous month. In April, the trade surplus was EUR 102.1 million.
Exports totaled EUR 18.25 billion in June, while imports amounted to EUR 18.36 billion.
For the first half of the year, exports and imports decreased by 23.1% and 23.4%, respectively. During the period, the trade balance showed a deficit of EUR 1.9 billion.
