Monday, a report by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said the sentiment indicator stood at minus 24 in July, unchanged from its reading in June. However, compared to the previous year and the long-term average, the indicator fell by 27 percentage points each.
During the month, the manufacturing confidence indicator also remained unchanged, at minus 30. At the same time, the retail confidence indicator increased by 2 percentage points to minus 18 and the construction confidence indicator rose by 4 percentage points to minus 50. Moreover, the services confidence indicator grew for the third consecutive month, with the index increasing 2 percentage points from June to minus 13.
However, the consumer confidence indicator was the only one to show a decrease, with the index dropping 3 percentage points from the previous month.
