Slovenia Retail Sales Increase In June

Thursday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the retail sales volume increased 1.7% month-on-month in June, compared with a 1.1% fall in the previous month, revised from 0.6% decline reported initially.

Year-over-year, retail sales decreased 9.3% in June, after falling a revised 14% in May.

In June, retail sales except automotive fuel dropped by 1.0% on a monthly basis and it was down 6% compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, the volume of wholesale, retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased 0.2% compared to the preceding month and it was down 26.7% over a year ago.
