Slovenia Consumer Prices Decline In July

Friday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the consumer price index or CPI decreased 0.6% year-on-year in July, compared with a 0.3% rise in the previous month.

Month-on-month, the CPI dropped 0.9% in July, after rising 0.5% in June.

For the January to July period, the CPI increased 1% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the harmonised index of consumer prices or HICP declined 0.6% on an annual basis in July, and it was down 0.8% compared to the preceding month. For the first seven months of the year, the HICP increased 0.9% over a year ago.
