Friday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the industrial production dipped a working day adjusted 19.6% year-over-year in June, after falling 24.4% in May, revised from 23.9% fall reported initially.
At the same time, manufacturing production fell 23.4%, while mining and quarrying production rose 2%.
On an unadjusted basis, industrial production decreased 18.9% year-on-year in June, compared with a 25.3% fall in the previous month.
For the first six months of the year, industrial production dipped a working day adjusted 23.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period, production fell an unadjusted 23.3%.
Separately, the statistical office said the construction production decreased 0.3% year-on-year in June, after falling 3.9% in May.
