Friday, the Statistics Norway announced that the industrial production decreased a working day adjusted 6.3% year-over-year in June, compared with a 7.9% fall in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 0.8% in June, after falling 3.1% in May.
In the second quarter, industrial production was down 5% compared to the previous quarter.
For the January to June period, industrial production dropped 3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, manufacturing production decreased 10.1% annually in June and it was down 0.6% compared to the preceding month. Sequentially, manufacturing production dipped 3% in the second quarter.
