Hungary June Industrial Output Falls

Thursday, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office said in a preliminary report that the industrial production dropped 18.6% year-over-year in June, after falling 22.1% in May. A year earlier, the production was up 0.8%.

After adjusting for working day effects, industrial production declined 18.6% annually in June, compared with a 22.1% fall in the preceding month

On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally and working day adjusted 1.9% in June, slower than the 2.6% growth in the previous month.

For the first six months of the year, industrial production dipped 22.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
