Estonia Retail Sales Fall In June

Friday, the Statistics Estonia said in a report that the retail sales in retail trade enterprises declined 11% year-over-year to EEK 5 billion in June, compared to the 16% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, retail sales at constant prices increased 5% in June, after rising 3% in May. At the same time, the retail sales in stores selling manufactured goods increased 5%, while in grocery stores sales rose 4%.

Meanwhile, the revenues from sales decreased 16% annually in June and it was up 5% compared to the preceding month. The revenues from sales of retail trade enterprises totaled 6 billion kroons.
